All About Windows

In this post we will talk about the different options we have for windows of both vehicle and commercial buildings. We will explain tint as well as perforated vinyl and frosted etch vinyl. Each method has its benefits and uses so continue reading to find out more!

VEHICLE TINT

With various levels of tint, you can change the look of your vehicle. It is a popular product among truck and car enthusiasts and most use it to enhance their style.

Window tint provides privacy and security to your vehicle so it’s harder for people to see the belongings inside. It also blocks out the UV rays of the sun and protects the leather interior of your vehicle from fading. Heat can build up easily in your vehicle and tint can help eliminate the heat and glare from the sun.

Tint comes in a variety of levels for the desired look you want. Below is a visual representation of what to expect.

COMMERCIAL TINT

We offer different types of tint for your building, including mirrored tint so people outside can’t see through your windows but you can still see out. It is a popular product for office buildings and receptionist spaces.

Tint can reduce heating and cooling costs of your building. It also protects furniture and merchandise from fading by the UV rays. In case of theft, it helps keep shattered glass in place if breakage happens.

Frosted Etch

Frosted etch is another option we have available for commercial buildings. It creates privacy but still lets some light in for transparency. This vinyl is used more commonly for windows inside of an office instead of using blinds that make employees feel confined. We can also cut your logo or design out of the vinyl to customize your office space!

There is also an option for printable frosted etch vinyl to add more colour and a unique finish.

perforated Window Decal

Another option is perforated vinyl. A full-colour print of window perf will help block out the sun and create privacy while advertising! It’s a great way to list your popular items or add some eye-catching graphics on your building!

Perforated vinyl isn’t just limited to buildings either. We can put it on your vehicle and you will still be able to see through it when sitting inside. Regular decals block your vision so perforated vinyl is a great option for all-over advertising that’s driving friendly.

NEW Shop Truck Wrap

As of May 1st 2018, we have been under new ownership here at Graph-X and there has been some changes we would like to share. First, we would like to introduce our new boss! Shane is the guy who runs our shop and the one who makes your quotes. He’s staying humble and won’t have his picture on our blog but you can come visit him at our shop on 94th Ave!

Now for what you have came here to read about. We have completed our new shop truck wrap! For years we have had our shop truck wrapped in an all over printed pattern but it was time for a change. Can you believe the truck was white underneath the wrap all of these years?

A new logo was designed for the business and that was the start of our transformation. We wanted to have our truck match our new branding and have a fresh, new look. Something that would catch your eye in traffic and turn heads when we are installing a store-front sign. Black, white, and bright green have been our colours for the longest time and with the truck already fully white, there were a ton of possibilities on a wrap. After cutting down to just two ideas and for Shane to make the final decision, we got to wrapping!

Going with a partial wrap left the top of the truck with its crisp white paint showing proudly. The wrap is a laminated full-colour print and has UV protection. Paint protection film was added to the hood since that has no wrap vinyl on it. The grill and bumpers were wrapped black and the truck badges were wrapped with bright green. We took off the vent visors for a sleeker look. Perforated vinyl was added on the back window and all together it creates one amazing truck!

Finally, we get to show you our new ride!

Wraps VS The World

There is a great benefit to vehicle wraps but if you need more convincing, continue reading! People can’t change the channel or ignore the “in-your-face” wrap that’s next to them on the interstate. Even while parked, your vehicle packs a punch! It doesn’t wreck your paint; it protects it! Wraps can also be changed easier than painting your vehicle if you rebrand your business.

For a cost of less than $44 per a million impressions. (WHAT?!)

A single vehicle wrap gets anywhere from 30,000 to 80,000 views per DAY according to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA). Car wraps can have the lowest cost per impression rate of any other form of advertising (tv ads, radio ads, billboards, newspaper ads, etc.) at a cost of less than $44 per a million impressions. (WHAT?!) This means they are a great way for the small local businesses to compete with vendors 10 times its size and still be affordable! Car wraps essentially make it easy for the mom and pop” shops in the community to compete with franchises.

While newspaper advertising costs $23.70 per thousand people who see it, a vehicle wrap is estimated to cost only 35 cents per thousand eyeballs. Not only is it the most affordable form of advertising, it’s even more memorable. 97% of people remember ads placed on commercial vehicles vs. 19% for billboards.
